By accurately determining your screen’s hardware Pixels Per Inch (PPI), we can render vector tick marks directly on your screen glass where 1 cm or 1 inch is identical to an optical laboratory scale.
How Calibration Works
Standard web browsers only expose arbitrary CSS pixels (typically scaled at 96 DPI for standard desktops or 2x/3x for high-DPI Retina/AMOLED phones). To establish a true physical baseline, Try Online Ruler offers three calibration methods:
